Baby Dems

Sadie and Jack are proud Obama supporters. Here they are watching their first presidential debate (that Meghan, Tatum's mom, holding Jack) and sporting their Obama shirts.

Cutie Pies

To keep Jack and Sadie occupied while I get ready for work in the mornings I place them in one crib together for "sibling bonding." In the past sibling bonding has generally consisted of completely ignoring one another, but recently the babes have taken in interest in each other. Now in the mornings I get a solid 10 minutes to get dressed while Sadie and Jack keep each other company.

Video is here!

We finally learned how to post video. We were inspired when Jack started laughing like a mad man this weekend. J. really knows how to get him going. Please let us know through the comment feature if you encounter any technical difficulties watching the video.

Sadie and Tatum

We had a playdate with Meghan and Tatum today. Jack slept through a lot of it, so the girls got some bonding time. Here's Tatum looking crazy cute.

Here's the girls together.

Too much fun

Genius Babies

I swear our babies get smarter every day. Since discovering their hands two weeks they've learned that they can make things happen with their hands. Not just something to suck on, hands have many purposes. We have a bouncy chair with toys on it and they've learned that they can make the toys move. There are plastic handles that can be sucked on, grabbed, and when pulled make noise and make the little bird in the middle turn. Jack got frustrated trying to make the bird move by pulling the handles, so he decided today that he was just going to push the bird manually with his hand to turn it. Is that not the beginnings of a genius?
