While Sadie's plotting her escape, Jack is happy as can be taking control of everything he can grasp with his hands. He has no interest in rolling, crawling, or standing; he simply wants everything he can find either in his hands or mouth. J.'s working on training him to hold his own bottle. Jack's working on his own to take down every hanging toy in sight. In the top photo you can see their different aims: Sadie's checking out her brother as she tries to roll away, while Jack is intently, and surprisingly strongly, pulling on the butterfly toy.

It's so exciting to know that people actually read this thing. I love comments! Thanks, John. I feel more motivated to post now. I hope that all is well in Maine. I can't wait to bring these guys to visit and get them out on the water. And the lobster and baby photos - those are going to be good.
